Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service form a legally binding agreement between you and Rush HR Technology Inc., the operator of MyLuggageGenie.
By accessing the Platform, making a booking, or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform or services. We may modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Services
MyLuggageGenie provides secure luggage storage, pickup from hotels, Airbnb properties, Canada Place, ferry terminals, and YVR Airport, delivery to hotels, residences, cruise and ferry terminals, and YVR Airport, and airport-transfer luggage handling in Metro Vancouver.
- Core Zone
- Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and Richmond.
- Extended Zone
- North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Port Moody, Surrey, and Whistler.
Service availability, hours of operation, and service areas may change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

Booking & payments
Booking
All bookings must be made through the Platform at least two calendar days before the scheduled pickup date. You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery addresses, luggage descriptions, and contact information. We are not liable for service failures caused by inaccurate information provided at booking.

Storage is insured up to US$500 per item. Prices are in US dollars, may change, and are subject to applicable taxes at checkout.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the full amount owing. Rush HR Technology Inc. does not store full payment card numbers.

Cancellations & refunds
- Within 24 hours of placing a booking
- Eligible for a refund of service fees, less non-refundable payment processor fees.
- After 24 hours from placing a booking
- Refunds are not available except where required by applicable law or approved by us in writing.
- No-show or after pickup has commenced
- No refund.
Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method. Payment processor fees are charged by our payment processor and are not refundable. Refunds are normally processed within 5–10 business days.

Luggage acceptance & prohibited items
We accept standard travel luggage, including suitcases, carry-on bags, backpacks, duffel bags, ski equipment, and similar items. Each item must be clearly tagged or labelled by the customer at pickup.
Do not pack
- cash, financial instruments, or negotiable documents;
- passports, travel documents, or government-issued identification;
- jewellery, watches, or luxury goods exceeding US$500 in value;
- electronics, including laptops, cameras, and tablets, unless pre-approved in writing;
- illegal substances or items prohibited under Canadian law;
- firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind;
- perishable food, leaking liquids, or hazardous materials; or
- fragile or irreplaceable items, including artwork, antiques, and collectibles.
We may refuse any item at our discretion. Items found to contain prohibited contents may be surrendered to appropriate authorities.

Insurance & liability
Basic coverage
Each bag accepted for storage or delivery is covered by basic insurance up to US$500 per item for loss or damage caused directly by our negligence during storage or transport.
Limitations
Our total liability for any claim arising from the services will not exceed US$500 per bag or the total amount paid for the booking, whichever is less. We are not liable for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, undeclared items, inaccurate customer information, delays caused by traffic, weather, force majeure, indirect or consequential damages, or items stored beyond the agreed period that were not claimed or renewed.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that luggage is securely packed and does not contain prohibited items. You confirm that the declared contents and value are accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Unclaimed luggage
If luggage is not retrieved or renewed within 48 hours after the agreed storage end date and we cannot reach you after reasonable attempts, we may charge additional storage fees at the standard daily rate. Items unclaimed after 30 days may be disposed of, donated, or surrendered to appropriate authorities without liability to Rush HR Technology Inc.

Customer obligations
You agree to provide accurate and complete booking information; be present or arrange an authorized representative at the agreed pickup or delivery time; ensure luggage does not contain prohibited items; treat our staff and representatives with respect; not misuse, abuse, or attempt to circumvent the Platform or booking system; and comply with applicable Canadian federal and British Columbia provincial laws.

Service modifications & cancellations by us
We may modify, suspend, or cancel bookings because of safety concerns, natural disasters, extreme weather, civil emergencies, or events of force majeure. In these cases, we will notify you as promptly as possible and issue a full refund for services not rendered.

Intellectual property & privacy
All Platform content, including the MyLuggageGenie name, logo, brand elements, website design, copy, and booking system, is the intellectual property of Rush HR Technology Inc. and protected by applicable Canadian copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this property without prior written consent.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disputes, governing law & warranties
For a dispute arising from these Terms or our services, both parties agree first to attempt good-faith negotiation. If it cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it will be submitted to binding arbitration in Vancouver, British Columbia, in accordance with the rules of the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre (BCICAC). Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of British Columbia courts for matters not subject to arbitration.
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rush HR Technology Inc. disclaims all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Indemnification, entire agreement & severability
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rush HR Technology Inc., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of our services, breach of these Terms, violation of applicable law, or the contents of your luggage.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Rush HR Technology Inc. regarding the Platform and services, and supersede prior agreements, communications, and understandings. If a provision is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it is severable and does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
